Rahmat Sotudeh-Gharebagh

Rahmat Sotudeh-Gharebagh is a Full Professor and Dean of Engineering at the University of Tehran, where extensive experience includes roles as Acting VP-Research and Dean of the Applied Research Office, as well as Head of Graduate Studies in Chemical Engineering. An expert witness for the Iranian Official Expert Organization since February 2016, Rahmat also serves as Editor-in-Chief for De Gruyter since May 2006. Previous academic appointments include Invited Professor at Polytechnique Montréal and Associate Professor at Qatar University. Rahmat's career in research and development management includes a position at Glucosan Factories from January 2002 to December 2004, along with a tenure as Director of the Standard Research Institute for the Iranian National Standards Organization. Rahmat holds a PhD and MEng in Chemical Engineering from Polytechnique Montréal, an Advanced Certificate in Petroleum Engineering from the Petroleum University of Technology, and a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Sharif University of Technology.
