John Fernando

John Fernando is an experienced aviation professional with a strong background in field services and fleet support management. Currently serving as the Manager of Field Services at De Havilland Aircraft of Canada Limited since June 2019, John oversees a global team of Field Service Representatives, ensuring they provide effective technical support and training across multiple regions. Prior to this role, John held various positions at Bombardier Aerospace, including Manager of Fleet Support for the Q Series Aircraft Program and Senior Project Manager for Entry Into Service initiatives. John’s career began at Gulf Aircraft Maintenance Company, where significant roles included Supervisor in the Customer Services Department and Project Lead on the GAMCO/Royal Air Force project. John holds a Bachelor's degree in Aviation Maintenance Management from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and a Diploma in Computer Studies from the National Computer Center in the United Kingdom.
