Thom Scholten

Thom Scholten has extensive experience in accounting and audit practices, currently serving as Controleleider at de Jong & Laan since September 2017, after progressing through roles including Senior assistent-accountant and Assistent-accountant in the controlepraktijk. Prior to this, Thom worked at Vrieling Adviesgroep from February 2015 to July 2017, holding the position of Medewerker volmacht and completing an afstudeerstage. Earlier experience includes working as an Administratief medewerker and intern in financial administration at Gebo Tours from September 2013 to August 2014. Thom holds an Executive Master in Accountancy from the University of Groningen, completed in 2019, and a Bachelor of Business Administration with a focus on Bedrijfseconomie from Windesheim, finalized in 2015. Education was initiated at Vechtdal College, where Thom earned a HAVO diploma in Economy & Society.
