Jasmijn van Den Berg

Jasmijn van den Berg is a maternity caregiver and holistic maternity caregiver at De Kraamvogel since 2020. Prior to this role, Jasmijn served as Assistant Manager of Organic Waste Management for the Gemeente Amsterdam from January 2017 to January 2020, where responsibilities included coordinating neighborhood composting projects and collaborating on the Amsterdam Wormenhotel municipal model. Academic fieldwork in South Africa was conducted in early 2018, focusing on intergenerational knowledge transfer within indigenous Vhavenda communities. Jasmijn has experience in global initiatives, having executed action plans for the UN Sustainable Development Goal 12 with World Merit and served as a Cultural Envoy for AIESEC in Tanzania. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in International Development Studies from the University of Amsterdam and a Bachelor of Science in Cultural Anthropology and Development Sociology from the same institution, along with various academic credentials from Utrecht University and Markenhage College.
