Jayrous Villanueva is a seasoned legal professional currently serving as a Senior State Solicitor at the Office of the Solicitor General of the Philippines since June 2006, with a progression through various roles including State Solicitor II and Associate Solicitor. In addition to legal practice, Jayrous has been a Lecturer of Law at De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde since January 2012 and previously held a position as Lecturer in Law and Economics at St. Scholastica's College, Manila from June 2009 to March 2013. Educational qualifications include a Juris Doctor from the University of Santo Tomas, a dual Master of Laws degree in Competition Law and Economics from Brussels School of Competition and University of Liège, and training from The Institute for Public-Private Partnership. Legal experience also includes an internship at the Court of Appeals of the Philippines.
