Deena Parmar

Deena Parmar is a Senior Lecturer in Community Justice at De Montfort University, a position held since January 2021. Prior to this role, Deena worked as a Probation Officer at the National Probation Service from October 2018 to December 2020 and at WWM CRC from February 2014 to July 2018. Deena's career in probation began at Warwickshire Probation Trust, where services were provided from September 2002 to February 2014. Educational qualifications include a Post Graduate Certificate in Academic Practice from De Montfort University, a Bachelor of Arts in Community Justice from the University of Birmingham, a Master's degree in Criminology from the University of Leicester, and a Bachelor of Arts in Archaeology and Sociology from the University of Leicester.
