Nick Rodgers

Nick Rodgers is an experienced educator and leader in the field of textiles, currently serving as Subject Group Lead for Specialist Materials at De Montfort University since January 2020, overseeing diverse undergraduate and postgraduate courses in fashion and textiles. Prior to this role, Nick held positions including Programme Leader for BA (Hons) Textile Design and Subject Lead for Textiles and Contour at De Montfort University, and Subject Leader for Printed Textiles and Surface Design at Leeds Arts University. With a career spanning over two decades, Nick has also held leadership roles at Norwich University of the Arts and Loughborough University, contributing significantly to curriculum development and fostering academic communities. Nick holds a Master’s degree in Printed Textile Design from the Royal College of Art and a Bachelor of Arts in Printed Textiles from the Glasgow School of Art.
