Nicola Collett

Nicola Collett is a Deputy Programme Leader and Senior Lecturer in Community and Criminal Justice at De Montfort University since June 2020, with responsibilities including module leadership for key subjects in the BA (Hons) Degree in Criminology. In addition, Nicola serves as an Admissions Tutor for the BA (Hons) Degree in Criminology and BA (Hons) Criminology with Psychology at Keele University while pursuing a PhD focused on the lived experiences of adults with early life criminal records in the UK. Previous roles include sessional teaching positions at the University of Nottingham and Keele University, and a Project Coordinator role at Leaders Unlocked, managing a youth commission project on crime. Nicola holds a Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy and advanced degrees in Criminology and Criminal Justice, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Geography and Criminology from Keele University.
