Hans Brits

Hans Brits has extensive experience in the banking and economic policy sectors, primarily with De Nederlandsche Bank, where roles have included Head of the Payment Systems Policy Department and Senior Policy Adviser in the Monetary and Economic Policy Department since 1993. Previously, Hans served at the International Monetary Fund as an Assistant to the Executive Director from 1991 to 1993 and held a position as a Policy Adviser in the Domestic Policy Department at De Nederlandsche Bank from 1987 to 1991. Academic qualifications include a Master’s degree in Monetary Economics from the University of Amsterdam and multiple Bachelor's degrees in Law from Leiden University.
