Iman van Lelyveld is a Professor of Banking and Financial Markets at Free University Amsterdam since 2015. Prior to that, they worked at De Nederlandsche Bank from 1999 to the present, starting as a Senior Economist and later becoming the Head of the Data Science Hub. From 2013 to 2014, they served as the Deputy Head International Data Hub at the Bank for International Settlements. In 2008, they worked as a Research Advisor at the Bank of England. Before that, they were an Associate Professor at Radboud University from 2005 to 2008. Iman'scareer began at Deutsche Bank as a Trainee Forex in 1993.
Iman van Lelyveld earned a PhD in Economics from Radboud University from 1995 to 1999. Prior to that, they obtained a Master's degree in Macro Economics from the University of Amsterdam from 1987 to 1993. In their earlier years, they attended Stedelijk Gymnasium Utrecht from 1979 to 1986.
