Kayla Carlson

Kayla Carlson is a skilled professional with extensive experience in clinical operations and public health. Currently serving as the Sr. Manager of Clinical Operations at Fora Health Treatment & Recovery since June 2021, Kayla has previously held various roles at Central City Concern, including Population Health Coordinator, Quality Improvement Specialist, and MAT Program Assistant from April 2016 to June 2021. Prior to that, Kayla gained valuable experience as an intern at the Food Literacy Center and as a tutor at Cluz Z Tutoring. Early career roles included swim coaching and instruction, lifeguarding, and a wellness internship with the Washoe County School District. Kayla holds a Master’s Degree in Public Health from the University of California, Davis, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Community Health and Preventive Medicine and a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish Language and Literature from the University of Nevada, Reno, complemented by Spanish studies at Universidad Nacional de Heredia in Costa Rica.
