Sjaak Brinkkemper

Sjaak Brinkkemper is an accomplished academic and industry leader in the field of software production and innovation. Currently serving as a member of the Supervisory Board for ICT and Innovation at De Zorgcirkel since July 2017, Brinkkemper has also held a professorship at Utrecht University since January 2004, focusing on the methodologies of software development as influenced by market conditions. Additionally, Brinkkemper co-founded and served as the scientific director and consultant at NISI, the Netherlands Institute for the Software Industry, from May 2016 to October 2020. With a rich career spanning several academic and consulting roles, including positions at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, Emendas, Baan, Universiteit Twente, and Radboud University Nijmegen, Brinkkemper's educational background includes a PhD in Business Informatics and an MSc in Mathematics and Computer Science from Radboud University, as well as a BSc in Mathematics from the University of Amsterdam.
