De Zwarte Hond
Floor van Dijk is a skilled urbanist with extensive experience in urban design and planning. Currently serving as a Praktijk docent at the Faculty of Architecture and the Built Environment, TU Delft, since September 2024, Floor also holds the position of Stedenbouwkundige at De Zwarte Hond since January 2021. Previous roles include serving as a Beleidsmedewerker at Gemeente Den Haag from May 2019 to January 2021, and as a bestuurslid at Jong BNSP, organizing professional events from December 2017 to January 2021. Floor's educational background includes a Master of Science in Urbanism and a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from Delft University of Technology. Additional experience includes participation in projects such as Fieldlab New York City and leadership during The Urban and Landscape Week 2015.
De Zwarte Hond
De Zwarte Hond is a design bureau for architecture and urban design. We have offices in Groningen, Rotterdam and Cologne that employ about 120 professionals. We add quality to the built environment by combining urban design and architecture. We effectively assess what adds value and enhances the quality of life for people, the street, the neighbourhood, the city and the region. We are fully committed to our designs, and we also assume responsibility for their realisation. The end product must be just as ambitious and beautiful as the first proposals.
