Marco Overwijk

Marco Overwijk is an experienced architectural professional currently serving as a Technisch architect/projectleider at De Zwarte Hond since February 2019. Previously, Marco held the position of Assistant Architect at Powerhouse Company from March 2013 to February 2019 and worked as an Assistent Designer at ZEEP architecten from July 2012 to March 2014. Early in the career, Marco completed internships at OOKarchitecten, Bouwgroep Heerenveen, and Van Wijnen Groep NV, gaining practical experience in design and technical development of buildings. Educational qualifications include a Master of Architecture from Rotterdamse academie van Bouwkunst (2013-2017) and a Bachelor of Built Environment from Windesheim (2009-2013), along with an MBO in Building/Construction Site Management from MBO Bouwkunde Friese Poort (2005-2009).
