Gabriela Rubio

Gabriela Rubio is a Digital Transformation Strategy & Value Manager at Grupo DEACERO since February 2021, with previous roles as Strategy & Incubation Program Manager and Product Discovery Manager at DLabs. Gabriela has also served as an Adjunct Professor for the Innovation and Development Engineering Undergraduate Program at Tecnológico de Monterrey from August 2018 to June 2024. Prior to this, Gabriela worked at Metalsa as an Open Innovation Project Manager at Startup Playground and as an Incubation Design Thinker at MLAB Ventures, focusing on bridging innovative companies with the automotive industry. Gabriela’s earlier experience includes positions as an Industrial Designer and Engineering Designer at Schneider Electric, where product design and engineering leadership were key responsibilities. Educational qualifications include a Master of Integrated Innovation for Products and Services from Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Design from Tecnológico de Monterrey, complemented by studies in Product Design at Istituto Europeo di Design.
