Cathy (Nelson) Belk

Cathy (Nelson) Belk started their work experience in 1990 as a Commercial Lender at Bank of America and worked there until 1996. Cathy then joined Procter & Gamble as a Brand Management Intern in 1997. In 1998, they moved to The Coca-Cola Company and held roles as a Brand Manager and later as a Senior Innovation Manager until 2004. Cathy then worked at American Greetings as a Director of Product Management and Marketing from 2004 to 2008. Cathy joined JumpStart Inc. in 2008 and held various roles including President, Chief Operating Officer, and Chief Relationship Officer until 2020. Currently, they are the President and CEO of Deaconess Foundation.

Cathy (Nelson) Belk pursued their education at Davidson College between 1986 and 1990, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree with a focus on Economics. Following this, they enrolled in Duke University - The Fuqua School of Business from 1996 to 1998, attaining an MBA degree specializing in Marketing and Management.
