Andrew Niklaus

Andrew Niklaus is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in supporting individuals with Deafness, Deafblindness, and complex needs. Currently serving as a Community Worker at Deaf Connect since June 2016, Andrew also specializes as a Deaf Interpreter with expertise in Deafblind and International Signs. With a background as a qualified Deafblind Communication Guide and a TAFE certification in Individual Support (Disabilities), Andrew has dedicated over six years to NDIS support work. Previous roles include part-time work as an Accounts Officer in financial services, handyperson services from 2009 to 2014, and a proofreader at Macquarie University's Accessibility Services. Additionally, Andrew has experience as a freelance Videophone Installer for sign-language communications from 2005 to 2008. Currently pursuing a Certificate 3 in Disability Studies at TAFE NSW, Andrew is committed to enhancing accessibility and support for individuals with disabilities.
