David Parker is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in supporting the Deaf community in Australia. Currently a Customer Support Specialist at Convo Communications Australia since April 2024, David has also served as a Seasonal Contract Auslan and Community Courses Teacher at the Deaf Society of NSW since 2008, delivering nationally recognized Auslan courses. With a history of leadership as Team Leader at Deaf Connect and Community Manager at the Ephpheta Centre, David has managed community needs and fostered collaborations with various agencies. Other roles include First Aid Trainer at St John Ambulance Australia, Webmaster for Deaf Australia Inc, and Documentation Author for Altium. David holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from UNSW and qualifications in Auslan and Training and Assessment.
