Paul Stockwell

Paul Stockwell has a diverse work experience. Paul currently holds the position of Head of Fundraising and Operations at Deaf Connect, a role they began in July 2022. Prior to this, they served as General Manager, Marketing and Sales at the same company from July 2021 to July 2022. Before joining Deaf Connect, Paul worked as an Operations Consultant at the company from May 2019 to July 2021.

In 2014, Paul joined UniQuest as a Contracts Manager, Expertise Commercialisation. Paul'srole involved connecting industry clients with the expertise and facilities at The University of Queensland to deliver commercial solutions. Paul worked closely with clients to identify their research needs, establish contracts, and manage projects from initiation to completion. Paul held this position from December 2014 to August 2018.

Paul's earlier roles include working as an Analyst at Commonwealth Treasury from December 2013 to December 2014, and as an Assistant Manager at the Department of Industry, Innovation, Climate Change, Science, Research and Tertiary Education from June 2013 to December 2013. Paul also served as an Assistant Director at IP Australia from September 2012 to May 2013.

In 2010, Paul started their career at the Department of Industry, Innovation, Science, Research and Tertiary Education. Paul worked as an Assistant Manager from January 2012 to September 2012 and as a Policy Officer from February 2010 to December 2011.

Paul Stockwell completed their Bachelor of Biotechnology Innovation (Hons) from QUT (Queensland University of Technology) from 2006 to 2009. Paul is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration - MBA from The University of Queensland, with an expected completion date in 2023.
