Shireen Hafeez

Shireen Hafeez is an accomplished leader with extensive experience in advocacy and education for deaf children and individuals with disabilities. As the Founder and President of Deaf Kids Code since 2014, Shireen launched an internationally recognized nonprofit that equips deaf children with vocational life skills and resources. Shireen's contributions extend to various organizations, including serving as a National Advisory Board Member for the NSF-INCLUDES Alliance and participating on the Advisory Board for CSforALL. As a guest lecturer and keynote speaker at numerous events, including the Pediatric Audiology Gala and Purdue University's inauguration of the Lyles-Porter Health Sciences building, Shireen has also held significant roles such as State Advocate and President for Indiana Hands & Voices Corporation and has experience in marketing and communications with APARNA. Shireen holds a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science and History from Purdue University.
