Glen Atwell

Glen Atwell has extensive experience in communications and public affairs, currently serving as the Director of University Communications at Deakin University since November 2014. Additionally, Glen is the Deputy Mayor and Councillor for Knox City Council, actively involved in local governance. Previous roles include serving as a Stonnington East Ward Councillor and as Chief of Staff to The Hon. Brendan O'Connor MP. Glen's background in media relations includes positions as a Senior Media Adviser for various high-profile ministers and as a media adviser for Victoria Police. Glen began a career in journalism with Star News Group before earning a Bachelor of Communications from Monash University and pursuing an MBA at Deakin University.
