Jessie Chen

Jessie Chen is a seasoned professional in the field of Work Integrated Learning (WIL) and event management, currently serving as the WIL Industry Engagement Coordinator for Deakin University since April 2023. Prior experience includes the role of WIL Placement Coordinator at Monash University, managing placements for the Science and Biomedical Science Faculty and fostering relationships with various stakeholders. At Southern Cross University, Jessie worked as a WIL Consultant, providing career support and developing workshops for students while also liaising with the tourism and hospitality sectors. Previous positions include National Event Coordinator at The Hotel School and event management roles within Hilton Hotels & Resorts and Hyatt Hotels Corporation, showcasing a strong background in strategic event planning and community engagement.
