Jo-Ann Riley

Jo-Ann Riley (GAICD) is an accomplished professional with a diverse background in business management, governance, and leadership. Currently serving as Director of Business Management and Services at Deakin University since December 2017, Jo-Ann has also held various significant roles, including Director of Property Services and Information Management, and Business Planning Manager at the same institution. Jo-Ann's leadership experience extends to GJK Facility Services as Head of Strategy and Client Success for Education and to TEFMA, where Jo-Ann served as President and Director. Additionally, Jo-Ann was an Interim CEO at the Australian Clinical Trials Alliance, advocating for clinical trial networks in Australia. With a rich academic background, Jo-Ann is pursuing a Master of Business Administration at Deakin University and has completed several prestigious programs, including the Authentic Leadership Program at Harvard Business School. Jo-Ann's previous roles include Manager Governance and Corporate Secretary at North East Water and Manager Governance and Risk at Indigo Shire Council, alongside early career positions in law and finance.
