Kaja Antlej

Kaja Antlej, PhD, is a Senior Lecturer in Industrial Design and a CADET VR Lab Researcher at Deakin University since May 2016, specializing in human-centered design, museums and heritage, and extended reality technologies. Antlej teaches various courses, including product development and engineering design, while also supervising PhD students. In addition to academic roles, Antlej serves as the Chair of the AIAA Melbourne Section and President of the Slovenian Australian Academic Association, actively promoting academic exchange between Slovenia and Australia. The professional background includes postdoctoral research at the University of Canberra and consultancy work in design and digital technologies related to cultural heritage. Educational credentials comprise a Doctorate in Humanities and Social Sciences from the University of Ljubljana and a Master’s in Industrial Design from the Academy of Fine Arts and Design, Ljubljana.
