Priscila MacHado

Nhmrc Emerging Leadership Fellow at Deakin University

Priscila Machado is a highly qualified professional in Public Health Nutrition with extensive experience in research and leadership roles. Currently serving as an NHMRC Emerging Leadership Fellow at Deakin University since January 2025, Priscila also holds the position of Research Fellow at the Institute for Physical Activity and Nutrition (IPAN) at Deakin University since September 2019. Prior to these roles, Priscila was an Alfred Deakin Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Deakin University from March 2021 to March 2023. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Public Health Nutrition and a Master's degree in the same field from USP - Universidade de São Paulo, along with a Bachelor's degree in Nutrition from Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina.
