Renee Fiolet

Renee Fiolet is currently the Executive Dean Strategic Research Fellow at Deakin University, focusing on health-related research until February 2026. In addition, Renee serves as a Scholar at the Safer Families Centre of Research Excellence, concentrating on interventions related to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander family violence. As Chairperson of the Board at The Sexual Assault & Family Violence Centre, responsibilities include overseeing board meetings and community engagement initiatives. Previous roles include Research Fellow at the University of Melbourne and various positions at Deakin University, including Lecturer. Renee's educational background encompasses a PhD in Family Violence from the University of Melbourne and multiple nursing degrees and certifications in higher education and governance.
