Sheeana Dhanji

Sheeana Dhanji is a barrister at the Victorian Bar since August 2022, also serving as a casual academic at UNSW, teaching practical legal training in advocacy, negotiation, mediation, and client interview skills. Dhanji holds an associate teaching fellow position at Deakin University, where MLL 334 Evidence Law is taught and assessed. Previous experience includes roles as a public defender at Victoria Legal Aid, principal policy officer at the Department of Justice and Community Safety, and principal solicitor for Covid-19 litigation at the Victorian Department of Health. Additionally, Dhanji has served as a senior researcher at the County Court of Victoria, solicitor at Herbert Smith Freehills, and held a legal counsel position at National Australia Bank during a secondment. Starting a legal career as an associate at Norton Rose Fulbright, Dhanji's educational background includes a BA/LLB (Hons) from Monash University and an International Baccalaureate from the International School of Kenya.
