Victor Lan

Victor Lan has over 20 years of experience in the software development industry. Victor is currently serving as the Vice President of Software Engineering at Dealer-FX since January 2021. Before that, Victor was the Director of Software Development at Volanté Systems from February 2020 to January 2021. Prior to that, they worked as the Director of Software Development at Fleet Complete from June 2017 to February 2020. Victor also has extensive experience at PointClickCare, where they served as the Director of Engineering from September 2014 to June 2017, Development Manager from May 2009 to September 2014, and Team Lead from October 2005 to May 2009. Victor held roles as Group Manager and Team Leader at Redknee from April 2003 to October 2005 and October 2001 to April 2003, respectively. Additionally, Victor worked as a Java Architect at Sun Microsystems, Inc. from April 2000 to October 2001 and as a Software Engineer at Scientific-Atlanta, Inc. from January 1998 to April 2000. Throughout their career, Victor has gained diverse experience in various leadership positions and has successfully contributed to the growth and development of multiple organizations.

Victor Lan holds a M.Sc. degree in Physics from the University of Toronto, which they completed from 1996 to 1997. Prior to that, they obtained a B.A.Sc. degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Waterloo, where they studied from 1991 to 1996. In addition, they have also obtained the certification of Pragmatic Marketing Certified - Level Three (PMC-III) from Pragmatic Institute in collaboration with TDI in 2018.
