Brian Moon

Brian Moon began their career in 1996 as a MIS at COMDATA. In 1997, they moved to Alabama Power Company as a Software Developer, where they developed Visual Basic programs to help manage shipping and receiving of equipment used by linemen. In 1998, they joined DealNews as the 3rd employee and has since grown to become the Principal Software Architect. Brian'sprimary role is the building of web applications, both public facing and internal, that help the business reach its goals. Additionally, they have spoken over the years about web technology at all sizes of events from local meetups to large international conferences.

Brian Moon attended Auburn University from 1993 to 1995, studying Mathematics. Brian then attended Jefferson State Community College from 1995 to 1998, studying Computer Information Systems.
