Elizabeth Tilden

Elizabeth Tilden currently serves as President at Dean Baldwin Painting, LP since May 2024 and holds the position of Senior Director of Quality Control, Technical Training, and Operations Performance at Virgin Galactic since January 2023. Previously, Elizabeth worked as the Director of Operations Analysis & Performance in Technical Operations at Virgin Galactic, and as an Aircraft Sustainment Associate at Georgia Tech Research Institute, where responsibilities included project direction for multi-million-dollar research initiatives. Prior experience includes significant roles at Delta Air Lines, such as General Manager of Engine Operations and Airframe Supplier Operations, overseeing multi-million-dollar budgets and large teams. Elizabeth has also held leadership positions at BNSF Railway and the National Transportation Safety Board and has academic credentials in Aviation Management, Airframe and Powerplant Technology, and Philosophy from Purdue University, Orange Coast College, and UC San Diego.
