Daniel Patterson is an experienced educator and administrator currently serving as the Director of Assessment, Research and Evaluation at Dearborn Public Schools. Previously, they held the same role at Dearborn Public Schools from 2016 to 2022 and served as Superintendent at Addison Community Schools from 2022 to 2023. Earlier in their career, Daniel worked as the Director of Research, Assessment, and Evaluation for Riverside Unified School District from 2011 to 2016 and as a Mathematics Teacher in both Fontana and Jurupa Unified School Districts. Daniel earned a Ph.D. in Education Policy from the University of California, Riverside, and holds a Master’s in Computer Science from California State University-San Bernardino, as well as a Bachelor’s in Mathematics from Michigan State University.
