Sarah Monsen Jayamaha

Sarah Jayamaha is an experienced educator and private tutor with a diverse background in teaching, curriculum development, and instructional coaching. Currently serving as a Private Tutor at Dearest, Inc., Sarah has previously worked as an Elementary School Teacher for the District of Columbia Public Schools, a Summer School Instructor at Vinyard App Camp, and a Creative Writing Instructor at Columbia University. With a strong foundation in English Language Arts, Sarah held various roles at YES Prep Public Schools, including 8th Grade Level Chair and Campus Recruitment Coordinator. Sarah holds a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Nonfiction from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and English from Tulane University.
