Rachel Lawrence is a dedicated student and community leader at UCL, actively involved in numerous initiatives aimed at empowering others and enhancing their own skills. Currently serving as a Welcome Ambassador and Workshop Leader for the Active Bystander Programme, Rachel also holds the position of President of the UCL Law for All Society, where responsibilities include fostering opportunities for non-law students to engage with prominent legal firms. As a Debate Mate Plus Mentor, Rachel organizes debate workshops in underprivileged schools, while serving as Sponsorships and Careers Officer for the UCL African & Caribbean Society. Rachel's internship experiences include a Summer Analyst role at HSBC, where compliance and regulatory tasks were undertaken, and participation in innovation-focused programs through STRIVE and the Commercial Law Academy. An active participant in both academic and extracurricular activities, Rachel aims to amplify voices within their network and is pursuing a BSc in Sociology at UCL, expected to graduate in 2025.
