Gareth de Bruyn has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Gareth began their career as the CEO and Chief Architect of deBCor Engineering in 1997. In 2010, they joined Accrete Solutions as the Mobility Director, where they established an Offshore Mobility Development Center and managed external vendors contributing to mobility products. In 2011, Gareth worked at Chevron in various roles, including Project Technical Architect Lead, Project Technical Lead for an EMV Payment Card Project, and Technical Team Lead for Pricing. Gareth also served as a Web Services Consultant at Hunter Douglas in 2013, where they developed SOAP Web Services based on SAP Remote Function Calls. In 2020, they became an Advisory Board Member for STS Capital Partners, AdvisoryCloud, and BugZero, as well as an Advisor for WebDoctors.com. Gareth is currently serving as the CTO and CMO for RaVina Labs, where they focus on at-home aesthetician grade facials and curated skincare.

Gareth de Bruyn has a diverse education history. Gareth obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of California, Davis in the years 1988 to 1994. In 2011, they earned a certificate in Software Security Foundations from Stanford University. Gareth also completed the Stanford LEAD Professional Certificate program at Stanford University Graduate School of Business from 2021 to 2022. Additionally, they will be undertaking the Executive, Chief Technology Officer Program at Wharton Executive Education in the years 2023 to 2024. Alongside their formal education, Gareth has obtained certifications such as Certified SAFe® 4 Practitioner from Scaled Agile, Inc. and SAP ABAP Certification from SAP.
