Director, Supporter Led Events at debra

Jason Kelly is the Director of Supporter Led Events at debra. Jason has over 20 years of experience in the marketing and advertising industry, working with some of the biggest names in the business.

Jason started their career in 1988 as a Jr. Copywriter and Traffic Manager at Grey Direct. Jason quickly proved their creative chops by developing a successful campaign for New York Telephone's "New Little Pages" direct mail package. Jason also wrote the content for Doubleday's The Literary Select, a new direct mail book club.

As traffic manager, Jason oversaw the schedules for direct mail campaigns and print advertisements for clients including the United States Mint, New York Telephone, Meredith Book and Crafts Club, Dreyfus Financial Services, and IBM. Jason was responsible for ensuring that all deadlines were met successfully.

In subsequent years, Jason held positions at DebraJason.com, The Write Direction, Na Pali Properties, Inc., and Creative Whispers of the Heart. In their current role at debra, they lead a team that creates and executes events that engage and inspire supporters.

Under Jason's leadership, debra has seen tremendous success in its event programming, with a growing base of dedicated supporters who are passionate about the organization's mission. Thanks to Jason's creativity and expertise, debra is able to continue its important work in the fight against EB.

Jason Kelly has a BA in Communication Arts and Sciences from Queens College, an MA in Communication Disorders from the University of Colorado Boulder, and a certification in Marketing on LinkedIn from LinkedIn. Jason also has a certification in Certified Virtual Presenter from eSpeakers.

They are on a team with Aigerim Saparova-Smith - Digital Marketing Director, Jeanette Gissen - Programs Director, and Rob Rayl - COO & Chief Development Officer. Jason Kelly reports to Brett Kopelan, Executive Director.
