Diane Pruner

Director, Grants Program at DECA

Diane Pruner serves as the Grants Program Director. Previously she was the AT&T Project Director overseeing DECA’s AT&T grant. She brings 30 years of experience in public education to this position. She began her career with Fairfax County Public Schools, VA, as a marketing teacher/DECA Advisor before serving in administrative positions including Program Coordinator for Marketing and CTE Director.

Throughout her career she was active with DECA on the local, state, and national level. Some of the highlights of her career include her service on the Virginia DECA Board of Trustees, Conference Coordinator at ICDC, and service on the DECA Competitive Events Taskforce. In addition, she is the recipient of an Honorary Life Member recognition from Virginia DECA, and an Outstanding Service Award from DECA.

Diane earned her bachelor’s degree in Marketing Education at the University of Maryland, and her master’s degree in Career and Technical Education from George Mason University.
