Chika Nwobi

Chika Nwobi is a seasoned technology entrepreneur and investor with extensive experience in software engineering and venture capital. Currently serving as the Chairman of Vertex Software Corp, Chika led the acquisition of an Austin-based consultancy specializing in AI and cloud solutions. As the CEO and Founder of Decagon, Chika focuses on building diverse software engineering teams. Chika is also the Founder/CEO of L5Lab, a venture that has invested in over 20 tech startups, including Gokada and Jobberman. Additionally, Chika holds a position on the Board of Directors at Unilever, contributing to the Statutory Audit, Finance Audit and Risk, and Governance and Remuneration Committees. As a Venture Partner at Rise Capital, Chika evaluates early-stage internet opportunities in emerging markets. Chika's academic background includes a Master of Science in Software Engineering from the University of Oxford and studies at INSEAD.
