Ivo Miguel da Silva

Ivo Miguel da Silva has extensive experience in advanced manufacturing and digital transformation, currently serving as the Head of Advanced Manufacturing - Digital Transformation in Production at Decathlon International since January 2023, while concurrently holding the position of Operational Process Manager at Decathlon Portugal since October 2018. Previous roles include Process Engineer and Production Maintenance Engineer at Bosch Car Multimedia Portugal, where responsibilities encompassed process improvement, quality management, and maintenance support. Ivo also contributed to research at the Center for MicroElectroMechanical Systems, the Centre for Mechanical and Materials Technologies, and the Laboratory of Robotics and Mechatronics. Academically, Ivo holds a Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, an Integrated Master degree in Biomedical Engineering, and a Licentiate degree in Biomedical Engineering, along with an internship in Biomedical Engineering under the Erasmus Placement protocol.
