Shritharan V B has a diverse work experience in the field of process safety and engineering. Shritharan started their career as a Technical Service Engineer at Alchymars ICM SM Pvt Ltd in 2001 and worked there until 2005. Shritharan then joined Nicholas Piramal India Ltd as a Process Safety and ScaleUp Engineer, where they gained experience in technical transfer, process optimization, and process safety. In 2008, they moved to AstraZeneca as a Process Safety Scientist, specializing in hazard assessments and operational hazard management. After five years at AstraZeneca, Shritharan joined Dr. Reddy's Laboratories as an Associate Director, focusing on process safety and chemical technical operations. Currently, they hold the position of Director-Corporate Engineering at Deccan Fine Chemicals Pvt. Limited.

From 1996 to 2000, Shritharan V B attended the University of Madras, where they obtained a Bachelor of Technology degree in Chemical Engineering.
