Mateo Miccino de Melo

Mateo Miccino de Melo is a Senior Software Engineer with extensive experience in software development and engineering. Currently at Decentraland since March 2021, Mateo leads the Desktop Client Project and contributes to the Decentraland SDK, focusing on building innovative applications for the decentralized platform. Previously, Mateo held a senior role at OmbuMed, specializing in telemedicine solutions that facilitate remote patient-doctor interactions. Before OmbuMed, significant contributions to hemodynamic medical equipment development were made at Angiolab, and entrepreneurial skills were exercised as the owner of AESIR Online. Prior to this, Mateo worked as a professional freelancer, delivering customized full-stack applications. Academic qualifications include a degree in Systems Engineering from Universidad Abierta Interamericana, completed in 2019.
