Damien Rolland

Damien Rolland is a scientific project manager specializing in hydrogen and powerfuels at DECHEMA since January 2022, where key projects include TransHyDE and H2-Kompass. Concurrently, Damien serves as an assessor and associate at Team for the Planet, a non-profit organization dedicated to combating greenhouse gases through the creation of 100 companies by fundraising 1 billion euros. Prior experience includes roles at Deutsche Energie-Agentur GmbH focusing on e-mobility and hydrogen, a transition management role at thyssenkrupp, and management consulting at AVENCORE. An extensive traveling break allowed for personal growth and cultural exploration across 22 countries. Damien holds a PhD in materials sciences from EPFL, alongside master's degrees in chemistry from ETH Zürich and École Polytechnique.
