Bertrand Massy

Bertrand Massy has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Bertrand began their career as an Audit Intern at KPMG Audit in 2005. Bertrand then joined KPMG as a Senior Auditor in 2008, where they worked on international assignments and oversaw audit engagements. In 2012, they became an Assistant Manager at KPMG, where they managed audit engagement portfolios and prepared reports for leadership. In 2015, they transitioned to Alexion Pharmaceuticals, Inc. and held various finance roles, including Senior Accountant, Senior Accounting Manager, Senior Manager of Corporate Forecast, and Associate Director of Corporate FP&A. At Alexion, they were responsible for conducting financial analysis, managing forecasting processes, and providing finance support. In 2018, they joined bluebird bio as Controller Europe, focusing on financial management in Europe. Currently, they are working at Deciphera Pharmaceuticals as the Head of Finance, International & Interim General Manager Nordics, overseeing finance operations internationally.

Bertrand Massy holds a Master's degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of St.Gallen, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management, also from the University of St.Gallen. Bertrand completed their Swiss bilingual (French/German) Maturity in Economics at Collège Sion and obtained a US High School diploma from Maranacook High School in ME, USA. Additionally, they have a certification as a Swiss Certified Public Accountant.
