Debi-Michelle Jantzen has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Debi-Michelle started their career as a Summer Intern at Gwynnie Bee in 2012, where they handled financial tasks and office responsibilities. In 2014, they worked as a Marketing Intern at York Capital Management, assisting with client advisory and sales activities. Debi-Michelle then joined Moon Capital in 2015 as a Summer Analyst, conducting research and preparing reports for their equity capital markets division.
In 2016, Debi-Michelle joined NationSwell as a Partnerships Associate, where they contributed to the mission of connecting problem solvers and generating collaboration through platforms and content creation. Debi-Michelle later transitioned to the role of Senior Associate, Partnerships, where they further enhanced their skills in partnership development and ecosystem building.
In 2019, Debi-Michelle became a Junior Advisory Board Member at WOMEN IN FUNDS, a role that allowed their to contribute to the advancement of women in the finance industry. Since 2020, they have been working at Decisive Point, a venture capital firm, first as a Senior Associate and currently as a Principal. In this role, they leverage their expertise in public R&D funding and federal market navigation to support deep-tech innovations in sectors such as security, health, energy, and infrastructure.
Debi-Michelle Jantzen obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Political Science from Princeton University between 2012 and 2016. Additionally, they obtained a certification in Venture Deals from NovoEd in the fall of 2020.
