Richard Hamber

Richard Hamber is the current General Manager at Deco Australia. Prior to their current position, Richard was an Industrial Designer at JELD-WEN, Inc. from February 2017 to December 2017. Richard has also held the position of Window Energy Rating Scheme Manager at the Australian Window Association from February 2010 to February 2017, where they were responsible for the day-to-day management of the Window Energy Rating Scheme. During their time at the Australian Window Association, Richard also liaised with members on technical enquiries, developed schemes and tools for developing markets, prepared and delivered training and speeches on energy efficiency and sustainability, and researched and prepared reports on technical changes to relevant building codes and standards. Richard is a representative for the Australian Window Association on various technical committees, review groups and standard committees, including the Australian Building Codes Board Energy Efficiency Review Group, The National Standards PP20 Group, The Australian Fenestration Rating Council Technical Advisory Committee and the Building Products Innovation Council Technical Group.

Richard Hamber's educational career includes earning a Certificate IV in Carbon Management from Carbon Training International and an Industrial Design degree in Industrial Graphics from Western Sydney University.
