Shimi Baliti

Shimi Baliti has a diverse work experience spanning across various roles and companies. In 2023, Shimi worked as an Adviser for Cloud Technologies at the New Zealand Israel Innovation Hub. Prior to that, in 2022, Shimi served as a Manager, Solutions Architecture - SMB and Enterprise Greenfield at Amazon Web Services (AWS). From 2019 to 2022, Shimi held two roles at Decoded Health, including Non Executive Director and Co-Founder and Head Of Engineering. Before that, from 2017 to 2019, Shimi worked at Theta (NZ) as the Head Of Digital and Product Manager. From 2015 to 2017, Shimi served as the Senior Team Lead and Delivery Manager, Big Data Group at Orion Health. Shimi also worked as an R&D and Delivery Manager at BrandShield - Online Brand Protection System from 2013 to 2015 and as a Co-Founder and CTO at Tap2print from 2010 to 2013. Earlier in their career, Shimi worked at Press-sense (acquired by Bitstream on June 2010) in various roles including R&D and Delivery Manager, Professional services; Team Leader, Professional services; and Application engineer, Support team from 2004 to 2011.

Shimi Baliti completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering from Technion - Israel Institute of Technology. This educational achievement took place from 2002 to 2006. In addition to this degree, Shimi Baliti obtained a certification as an AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in January 2023.
