Steve Parrott BSc (Hons)

Steve Parrott has a diverse work experience spanning across different companies and roles. Steve started their career at Crystal Heart Plant Raisers as a Trainee General Manager from September 1994 to May 1996. Steve then joined Seminis as a Sales Executive from May 1996 to July 1999, where they gained valuable knowledge in variety selection, seed production, and growing enterprises. Steve was later promoted to Sales Manager from July 1999 to September 2002, and finally became the Director (UK) from September 2002 to July 2005. During this time, they also served as the UK crop specialist for leafy salads and member of the worldwide breeding/development team for leafy.

Following their time at Seminis, Steve joined QV Foods in July 2005, where they held several roles including National Account Manager, Sales Manager, Commercial Manager, and Sales & Marketing Manager. In these positions, they had responsibilities in account management, sales, commercial support, and marketing. Steve was directly responsible for sales performance and the management of key accounts such as Asda/IPL, Lidl, Costco, and Brakes/Fresh Direct, among others.

After their tenure at QV Foods, Steve worked as the Sales & Marketing Manager at JEPCO from July 2017 to October 2018, where they focused on sales and marketing management. Steve is currently serving as the Senior Account Manager UK at Decowraps since November 2018.

Steve Parrott completed their A levels in Maths, Chemistry, and Physics from Darlington College of Technology between 1988 and 1991. Following that, they pursued a degree in Agriculture & Food Science and obtained a BSc Hons from the University of Nottingham, which they completed between 1991 and 1994.
