Cheun Hong

Cheun Hong is an experienced engineering professional currently serving as Engineering Lead and Founding Engineer at decube since December 2022. Prior to this role, Cheun worked at Fave from October 2019 to December 2022, where responsibilities included designing and architecting a streaming transformation pipeline utilizing Kafka, Streamz, and Dask as a Data Engineer, and developing API solutions for insights dashboards as a Data Analyst. Cheun began the career as a Data Analyst Intern, gaining proficiency in SQL and Python. Early professional experience includes an internship at Areca Capital Sdn Bhd from November 2018 to January 2019. Academically, Cheun holds a Bachelor of Science in Actuarial Science & Finance from UCSI (2017-2019) and a Foundation degree in the same field from UCSI (2016-2017), along with earlier education at Chempaka from 2013 to 2015.
