Apurva Saxena

Apurva Saxena has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries.

From 2010 to the present, Saxena has worked at DeCurtis Corporation, initially starting as a Team Lead/Senior Software Engineer before progressing to Senior Technical Architect/Project Manager. Saxena was responsible for leading the architecture and development of a product aimed at improving the guest experience in the cruise line and hospitality industry. The product consisted of over 150 microservices running on Android, iOS, and web-based hybrid apps.

Prior to DeCurtis, Saxena founded TechFuturistic.com in 2009 and served as the Founder. In this role, Saxena handled business development, project management, and also worked as a full-stack developer. Saxena successfully delivered more than 10 custom-developed projects during this tenure.

From 2008 to 2009, Saxena worked as a Software Engineer at Pyxis Systems, focusing on backend development for a live market data product. Saxena utilized .NET for backend services and MSSQL Server as the database.

In 2007, Saxena worked as a Software Engineer at Life Business Projects, where they developed backend services using Java and Oracle as the database.

Saxena began their career in 2007 as an intern at Sahara Samay, working as a backend developer for the news channel website. Saxena utilized C++ for backend services during this role.

Apurva Saxena's education history includes a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) degree in Electronics & Communication from The ICFAI University, Dehradun. This degree was obtained from 2003 to 2007. Additionally, Apurva Saxena holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Information Technology from Mahatma Gandhi University. This degree was earned from 2012 to 2014.

Apurva Saxena has also acquired several certifications. In 2000, Apurva Saxena obtained the MCPS (Microsoft Certified Professional) certification from Microsoft. Furthermore, in 2019, Apurva Saxena obtained the Associate Cloud Engineer certification from Google Cloud (NJ). The latest certification was obtained in 2020, which is the Professional Cloud Architect certification from Google Cloud (NJ).
