Melissa Srebnik has a diverse work experience that spans over several years. Their most recent position was as an Operations Project Assistant at Decypher, where they were hand-selected to join the corporate team and provide subject matter expertise on the life-cycle management of government-awarded contracted projects. In this role, Melissa managed over 60 requisitions in the applicant tracking system and screened applications and resumes against performance work statement qualifications.
Prior to working at Decypher, Melissa served as a Security Specialist Program Manager at the same company. In this role, they were the commander's principal advisor on the implementation and management of Personnel, Industrial, and Information Security programs. In this position, they provided technical support, comprehensive reference, and research to over 19,300 GDSS end-users in support of the Air Force, Air Mobility Command's rapid global mobility mission. Melissa expertly fielded over 3,000 trouble tickets through remote and virtual troubleshooting, resolving a range of software, hardware, server, and network issues that reduced the impact on global missions.
Melissa also has experience in the food industry as a Shift Manager at BEAST Craft BBQ Co., where they accomplished first-level supervisory duties, managed inventory records, and enforced compliance with all U. health and safety regulations.
Melissa served in various roles in the United States Air Force Reserve, including as a Command Post Emergency Actions Controller, where they disseminated time-sensitive classified and critical information to installation commander and support agency senior leaders in emergency situations. Melissa adeptly prioritized actions during high-tempo operations and assembled the Crisis Action Team and Emergency Operations Center during exercises and real-world emergency incidents. Melissa also worked as an Event Coordinator for the United States Air Force, where they coordinated and executed over 400 DoD events and special activities on behalf of the installation commander. Additionally, they served as a Bioenvironmental Engineering Technician during their time in the Air Force.
Melissa's work experience also includes roles as a Design Consultant at Lauer Architecture, where they developed scaled floor plans and provided hand-drawn images of future spaces, and as an Aircraft Interior Design Intern at West Star Aviation Inc., where they aided in the selection of materials for aircraft interiors.
Earlier in their career, Melissa worked as a Special Events Coordinator at Tucson Medical Center, where they designed and coordinated events that increased annual revenue and aided in the completion of a new children's wing within the hospital.

Melissa Srebnik began their education at the Community College of the Air Force from 2007 to 2009, where they pursued a field of study in Bioenvironmental Engineering Technician. Following this, from 2010 to 2013, they attended The Art Institutes and obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Interior Design. Currently, Melissa is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Design Arts and Practices at the University of Arizona, starting in the year 2020.
