Shona Claremont

Shona Claremont is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in driving technology strategy and innovation. Currently serving as Chief Technology Officer at Deecon since October 2024, Shona focuses on helping the company and its clients navigate and adopt new technologies effectively. Prior to this role, Shona spent 14 years at Barclays, where responsibilities included shaping technology architecture and platform engineering strategy, leading technology research and evaluations, and identifying emerging technologies to enhance business value. Shona's earlier career also included a position as ICT Strategic Category Manager at the Metropolitan Police from October 2006 to November 2010, demonstrating a strong foundation in technology sourcing and stakeholder engagement across various sectors.
